Why We Exist

The mission of the Parent Service Organization at Great Hearts Invictus is to provide support to the teachers and staff who guide our children daily in the pursuit of truth, beauty, and goodness. We do this by providing volunteers for on campus help, special events, and room/grade-level representatives.

Mirna Lopez

Upper School President

Hello, Great Hearts Invictus families!

My name is Mirna Lopez, and I am honored to serve as your new Upper School President! I truly believe that amazing things happen when people come together, and I love connecting with volunteers, building relationships, and creating opportunities for our community to get involved.

I'm a proud mom to two wonderful daughters—Madeline, who is entering 9th grade, and Anna Sophia, who is heading into 5th grade. Our family joined Great Hearts Invictus in 2023, and we've loved becoming part of such a welcoming and supportive community.

A little about us: we're a former military family. My husband, Ivan, proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 22 years. During those years, we had the opportunity to live in many different places, experience new cultures, and make lifelong friends around the world. After his retirement, we chose to put down roots in San Antonio, and it's been one of the best decisions we've made.

When we're not cheering on our girls or volunteering at school, you'll usually find us planning our next adventure. We love traveling, making memories together, and exploring new places. We're also proud volunteers with the San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo, giving back to a community that has welcomed us with open arms.

I'm excited to serve our Upper School families, meet more of you throughout the year, and work alongside our incredible volunteers. I believe every helping hand makes a difference, and I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together. Please don't hesitate to say hello—I look forward to getting to know each of you!

Clarissa D’Amico

My name is Clarissa D'Amico, and I am honored to serve as your Lower School PSO President for the 2026–2027 school year.

I am excited to partner with our amazing parents, teachers, staff, and administration to help make this a fun, engaging, and successful year for our students. The PSO plays an important role in building community, supporting our teachers, and creating memorable experiences for our children, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to be part of that mission. I have 3 boys who attend here, a loving husband of 17 years, and two dogs! We have had the privilege of being apart of this amazing community since its inaugural year. I’m excited for all the fun things in store for this coming school year.
